Today at the appropriate time, I told Noah he had to go into his playroom for quiet play time. I took Maeve upstairs to put her down for a nap. Paul was working in the office and all of a sudden he rushed out and yelled "What was that?" Noah was on the back steps with a hammer in his hand pounding the wall.
He was quickly escorted to his bedroom to calm down and explain what happened.
M: Why did you leave your playroom?
N: I don't know.
M: Is the hammer yours?
N: No.
M: Why did you pick it up?
N: Because I was playing with my animals.
M: Is the hammer an animal?
N: No, but I wanted to see if God could turn it into an animal.
M: You wanted God to turn the hammer into an animal?
N: Yes, a hammer animal like my hammer head shark.
M: (silent).
Fine, you win.

TOO FUNNY! I love my son, but the cabin fever is getting bad!
Arguably, his reasoning was divinely inspired. What a great story for Noah to hear as a 20-something!
Adorable!
They are so amazing! Love this- hilarious!
