Finding Perito

So, we stopped by church today on our walk and the preschool had little leprechaun feet all over the place and the children were searching for the leprechaun.  Noah tried to find him but couldn't.  When we got home we were lounging in my bed and he said we had to find the leprechaun.  He ran to Maeve's room and found the leprechaun and brought him back.  Then he gave him to me for a second and then said "He has to find his way back home!"  I asked what his name was and he said "Perito" the leprechaun -- sounds Mexican to me! But he said it was very important for Perito to find his way because the bees, pumas and arctic foxes were trying to trap him.  He put the leprechaun under the covers and said he found another one.  I asked if there were two leprechaun's and he said yes, of course, they are twins.  Then he tipped his imaginary hat and said "Top O the Mornin' to you!" and walked out.

Hope this begins your St. Patty's Day celebration on the right foot!!!

Peanut Butter

Noah LOVES Peanut Butter (he says it's because PopPop likes it).  He has been caught eating peanut butter off of sandwiches or other items and neglecting the vessel carrying the peanut butter.  We're eating celery and PB right now.  Noah leans over and hands me his half eaten peanut butter-less celery and says, here mom, you can share my celery.  Nice. Just what I always wanted.
