Who's Visiting Today?

Din Din

Our new favorite thing is to help mommy make dinner. It's usually really really sweet. Here Noah is rolling dough for our homemade pizza last night.

And his new notorious grin...

Easter Eggstravaganza!!!

To avoid the mass chaos of public egg hunts, a few friends and I planned a private one at a local orchard yesterday. The kids got to go on a long hayride first, then feed the goats (of which Noah thought only the babies deserved food), and then hunt for eggs. It was kind of a sham, because it was pricey and when we went to hunt for eggs, they were empty! What a hoax! Noah didn't understand so it didn't matter. At the end of the hunt they had to go back to the main store and give their eggs back! Noah was a little upset about this. Each kid then traded their eggs for a cheap oriental trading gift. Ugh. But, he had a great time, despite the freezing cold wind and the lack of sunshine.

Christmas in April

As a joint Christmas gift with our nephews we planned to spend a day together. We chose the Maryland Science Center as the location -- a place where the older boys and Noah could all find something fun to do. It was a great day for all of us. Noah loved all the hands on exhibits:

Learning about velocity and motion:

about tension

Dinosaurs, of course!

and a cool invisible harp...

We played for a long long time and then we all headed out to lunch together. It is so amazing to see him with older children because he falls right in line and does what they do. Thank God my nephews are incredibly well behaved and good for him to follow!
