3 fantastic years...

Today is our three year anniversary. There aren't words to describe how wonderful our marriage is. Paul is the sweetest, most humble, most loving husband and father I could have ever dreamed of. We knew the night we met that we would get married and we still carry that same incredible love all the time. In such a short time we have been through so much and together, with God's help, we know we can go through anything and still stay strong. I feel so blessed to have him... I can't even explain. Thank you God for picking the perfect husband for me.

We exchanged simple gifts last night (leather is the gift for anniversary #3) -- a wallet and a phone case. Tonight we had sushi (what we ate on our first date) and watched a lame-o love story called Wedding Daze about a couple who got married on a whim. Now we're just enjoying a normal evening on the couch. Later this weekend we'll head to Philly for a little anniversary get away... i'm so excited!

A {short} trip down memory lane...

Our First Photo -- At a bed and breakfast in the Poconos

While we were on our way to dinner on that trip we stopped and set up the camera to capture the sunset that night...

Our wedding was perfect... the best day ever...

Our First Anniversary was a little hectic.... we went out to dinner and pretty much fell asleep over our meal! Noah wasn't yet a month old.....

Our second anniversary we were still all wrapped up in a colicy infant, but we managed to set up a romantic dinner in the yard (sushi, of course!). The anniversary was cotton, so Paul got me a beautiful white azaela bush that looks like cotton and a beautiful Egyptian cotton tablecloth for the dining room. I got him slippers with a gift certificate for a couples massage.

Tonight the sky was perfect... it reminded me of that first sunset on our first trip. We look a little more tired and a little more worn for the wear, but we are just as happy as that day we stopped to take our picture in the sunset.....

And as I lay in my dear hubby's arms on the couch right now I am certain that all is perfect with the world.

Scottish Games

We had a great day Saturday at the Fair Hill Scottish Games. Hundreds of bagpipes and kilts, haggis and goat burgers, and of course Scottish Beer! It was really fun to see and I love the sound of a bagpipe! Noah had a blast and danced the day away.

A boy and his dog

We got Sophie for Noah so that he would have a dog to grow up with. She continues to be the best dog ever and is so calm and gentle. Noah jumps on her and falls on her and takes her bones from her and she doesn't make a peep. We are so grateful for that! He wakes up from naps saying "What's Sophie doing?" and when she goes outside, he pushes his food away and says "All Done, I want outside." Here he is trying to get her to blow bubbles with him.
