STATIC!!!

Our house is SOOOO dry! So, today paul kept rubbing the blanket on Noah's head!!!

We tried to play in the snow..

So, I can't stand being all pent up in the house. It is against my nature! I knew today would be rough. I bundled noah up and we headed outside, but it didn't work so well. The snow was a weak imitation snow with a layer of ice on top. Not snowman building snow for sure. So, I pulled him around in circles on the sled, but he insisted on laying down.


That got boring quickly.


So, he decided to wander and see what he could find...


and then another tantrum ensued when he couldn't pet his newfound friend...



Back in the house we went.

Juno

Paul and I snuck out to see a movie on President's day and we found a cheapo matinee in Lancaster. We saw Juno which was AWESOME. I highly recommend it to all of you. The music as also phenomenal and worth downloading.

Valetine's Day #3 -- PARTY!!!

Noah wanted to invite all of his friends over from mommy club to tell them how much he loves them. He was thrilled to have kids over to play (this may have been the first time!). He stood in the front room yelling GUYS! PLAY! PLAY!! and he spent the night on a high from all of the other toddlers in the house. Of course it could have been all of the candy, too. And, not matter how hard we tried to childproof, we were not successful. One little girl could reach the hard candy hearts and was handing them out to babies! Then, we forgot to remove the items from paul's humidor and we found a baby with a cigar cutter in her hand. OOPS! Overall it was a GREAT night and the late night partiers stayed up for a 9pm showing of Blues Clues.

Night Owls

My Valentine

We had a great valentine's day!!! We woke up and suffered through another day without coffee (only water for lent! grrrr!). We went to work and we met for lunch -- plans to have sushi at hibachi! (except they were closed and we ate at panera!). Then we had a sitter and went out for dinner at the elegant Kennett Inn (which turned out to be mostly old folks!). So, though none of our dining choices wer ideal, we had a GREAT day and loved our time together.

Tea Party

We had a tea party this morning for the mom's group at the local tea house. We dressed Noah up in a tie and coat and headed off. I was a little unsure of how he would do with fancy glasses and hot tea, but decided to go anyway. When we got there, Noah was thrilled! He went right over to the dress up clothes and just had a blast trying on everything! It was so much fun....
