Christmas Eve

We had a great relaxing day on Christmas Eve with the normal preparations for the big day.  We got all dressed up for a wonderful Christmas Eve Service at 5pm.  We headed home and had a fun dinner of Oyster Stew, crabcakes and scallops.  The kids were antsy to get out of their clothes so we gave them a big giant present bag to open.  Inside were coffee mugs for all of us (the kids loved their grown up mugs like mommy's!), hot chocolate, marshmallows and Christmas pj's.  We had just heard a Christmas children's sermon about the movie, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, and so we decided to sit down with our cocoa and watch it together.  Boy is that movie dated!!!!!  But we enjoyed it anyway!

The kids were very eager to get to bed that night!!! We read the Nativity story together and then hopped in our beds to sleep!!!
